Description

This is a 7 day (5 full days of hunting) fully guided 1:1 hunt for an iconic African species. Option to bring a non-hunter companion, add additional hunting days, or add a crocodile to the hunt. This hunt can be arranged for either bow or rifle. Hunter will spot and stalk hippos from shore with their PH. This is a great hunt for the adventurous! All meals, lodging, and alcoholic beverages will be provided for this hunt. Options to add additional days of hunting, bring a non-hunter, and add more African species to the hunt. This hunt must be a rifle hunt, bow hunting is not allowed.

Classification details:

Mature bulls are targeted for this hunt. Average size of male bulls is 10-16" long. Mature bulls have larger heads and it is common for the teeth to be worn. Mature Male and female are very similar in size.

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

This is will be a spot and stalk hunt along with field transportation. Light hiking will be required, but most travel will be provided with a vehicle.

Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

Hunter will fly to Johannesburg, SA. Hunter will have their weapons received here. Outfitter will supply a PH to help them check in weapons. Hunter may then choose to either drive to the concession (about a 5 hour drive) or take a 1 hour flight to Kimberly, S.A. Outfitter will pick up hunter from this airport.

Hunter will have a fun hunt with this outfitter! All of your lodging, meals, and alcoholic beverages are provided for this hunt. Field transportation provided is only the best vehicles and equipment are used, ensuring you a relaxing and carefree, but most of all, a safe and splendid Safari. Hunter should be prepared for warm and potentially rainy weather depending on the time of year booked. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
